Hellmouth Triptych (2026)

After studying the history of “Hellmouth” paintings and illustrations going back to the 1400s, seeing work of famous artists and lesser knowns, Albert Shivers wanted to create his own interpretation.

Sitting down to plan the project, transformed one piece into three pieces, all 22”x30”, that fit together side by side to form this triptych.
